DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchive.org Mr. Imperium (UK title: You Belong to My Heart) is a 1951 romantic drama film made by MGM. It was directed by Don Hartman who co-wrote screenplay with Edwin H. Knopf, based on play by Edwin H. Knopf. The music score is by Bronisław Kaper. One event in the film that slipped by un-noticed was when Lana Turner (at her own insistence and after an argument with the director) introduced "The Guadalajara Trio" by name, although they were not listed in the screen credits. In the manner of the way that Latino actors and musicians were often treated, they were also omitted from the credits of several other films like 'My Friend Irma Goes West" with Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis even though they did several beautiful songs.
